Sadly, as the zine is no more, we are no longer looking for staff. Many thanks to all those who have helped us over the years.
Staffers work on stories for Crazed every month,
earn credits towards free issues with that work, and turn in
regular progress reports so we can keep track of who is doing
what.
Staff requirements:
You have to LOVE Rocky Horror.
You need to be able to dedicate yourself to the magazine 1-4
hours per week, possibly more during a crunch.
You MUST have good communication skills and steady access to
the internet/email. You need to be able to answer important Crazed
related emails within 24 hours (except during the weekend). You
must notify our editor when you plan on being away from email
longer than 72 hours so we know to send assignments/etc. to someone
else. Call, find a public terminal and email, have someone else
call, whatever...please let us know.
Reporters must have good followthrough and persistence.
Independence (being able to find stories in addition to farmed-out
stories) is important too.
Benefits are few, but you will have the gratitude of the
current staff and subscribers. Staffers go through a 3-month
probation period before becoming full members of the staff. After
the probationary period, volunteers are comped 1/2 an issue for
every one that they contribute to. After one year's service to CI,
your subscription is free as long as you work on the staff.
